LOS ANGELES — London-based adult tech company Webstream has released an upgrade to its camming software that in addition to improving performance on Windows and Mac computers, now enables independent performers to cam from their mobile or tablet devices on Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G connections.
Webstream isn’t a conventional cam platform, but instead, provide a simple widget that can be added to any website to give performers the ability to cam directly with fans. As well as cam software, Webstream also provides a clip store, photo store and premium phone chat widgets, all of which can be added to any performer’s website.
With the update, Webstream’s new LiveCam software has been redeveloped from the ground up to now access an iOS or Android mobile device’s camera and takes advantage of new streaming technologies that bring faster connections and the benefit of two-way camming. Performers can set their own prices for group and private chat and their payouts are at 75 percent, weekly.
“In this day and age, more and more performers are becoming independent thanks to the huge growth of social media,” Webstream’s Ben Clark explained. “Our software gives performers the independence to make more money by driving traffic to their own site. Our new cam platform has been developed over the past 18 months and is now ready for performers to enjoy the freedom of mobile camming.”
